New here? Here are some commonly asked questions to get you started.

What does it mean to be Open and Affirming?

Open and Affirming (ONA) is the United Church of Christ's (UCC) designation for congregations, campus ministries, and other bodies in the UCC which make a public covenant of welcome into their full life and ministry to persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.

Is your church handicap accessible?

Yes – the handicap entrance and special parking can be found on Mountainside Drive, around the corner from the Main Entrance.  The handicap door lead directly into the sanctuary.

Unfortunately at this time, our lower level which houses our offices and classrooms are not handicap accessible. However, there is space upstairs to gather that is accessible to all.

What safety restrictions are you following during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Our doors are currently WIDE OPEN! In-person worship is at 10AM on Sundays. Click HERE for your updated guide to our church re-opening guidelines.

Do you provide nursery/childcare during service?

Children are invited to being worship with everyone in the sanctuary at 10am and then after the Children's Sermon, they are invited to follow a Sunday School teacher to the classroom for an exciting time of bible stories, crafts, and activities. Sunday school is for ages 3 and up. Click HERE for more information on Sunday school.

We have nursery attendants present every Sunday so you can drop off your little one (under 3 years old) right before worship or at any time during the service. Click HERE for more information on our Nursery.

Do you have to be a member to take communion?

No – we mean it when we say We Welcome Everyone.

Are your facilities available for rent?

Come as you are. You will find some wearing t-shirts and shorts in the summer while others wear a tie and suit jacket and everything in between.

What is the United Church of Christ?

The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a distinct and diverse community of Christians that come together as one church to join faith and action.  With over 5,000 churches and nearly one million members across the U.S., the UCC serves God in the co-creation of a just and sustainable world.  The UCC is a church of firsts, a church of extravagant welcome, and a church where "…they may all be one" (John 17:21).
